Banana Split Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 chocolate cake mix
  • 5 to 6 bananas, sliced
  • 1-8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1-12 oz. Cool Whip
  • 1 sm. instant banana pudding
  • 1/2 C. maraschino cherries, chopped
  • 2 C. milk
  • 1 Hershey chocolate bar, shaved
  • 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1/2 C. nuts, chopped


Preparation

Prepare cake mix according to directions on package. Pour into jelly roll pan and bake at 350° about 25 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. Beat together cream cheese, instant pudding and milk, until thick and well blended. Spread on cooled cake. Top this layer with crushed pineapple. Top with sliced bananas then layer with Cool Whip. Decorate the top chopped cherries, nuts and shaved chocolate. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Serve chilled.
