Buffalo Chips

Ingredients:

  • 2 C. flour
  • 3/4 C. sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 T. water
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 1/2 C. quick oats, uncooked
  • 1 C. shortening
  • 1-12 oz. pkg. butterscotch morsels
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1-12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet morsels
  • 3/4 C. brown sugar, firmly packed


Preparation

Preheat oven to 375°. In small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside. In large bowl, combine shortening, vanilla, sugars, eggs and water. Beat until creamy. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in oats and both kinds of morsels. Drop by slightly rounded tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 5 dozen cookies.
