Chocolate Crunch Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1 C. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 C. sugar
  • 1 jar marshmallow creme
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 C. creamy peanut butter
  • 6 T. cocoa
  • 2 C. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 C. flour
  • 3 C. crisp rice cereal
  • 2 tsp. vanilla


Preparation

In a mixing bowl, cream margarine and sugar; add eggs. Stir in cocoa, flour, vanilla and salt. Spread into a greased 9x13 baking pan. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes or until brownies test done. Cool. Spread marshmallow creme over cooled brownies. Melt peanut butter and chocolate chips; stir in rice cereal. Spread over marshmallow layer. Chill before cutting. Store in refrigerator. Yields 3 dozen.
