Pear Cobbler

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. pears, peeled and sliced
  • 2 T. flour
  • 1/4 C. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

TOPPING:

  • 1/4 C. butter, softened
  • 1/2 C. flour
  • 1/2 C. sugar
  • 1/3 C. brown sugar


Preparation

If desired, pear mixture can be placed in a pie crust lined pan or unlined 9"x13" pan sprayed with Pam. Mix pears, flour, sugar, salt and cinnamon together until well blended and pour in pan. Combine butter, flour, sugar and brown sugar until crumbly and sprinkle on top of pear mixture. Bake uncovered at 425° for 40 to 50 minutes until fruit is tender and top is browned. Can be served warm or cool.
