Sunday Roast Dinner (Never Fail!)

Ingredients:

  • Select a large brisket roast (trim off excess fat)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • 2 pkgs. onion soup mix (1 box)


Preparation

Place foil in pan or cookie sheet. Meat will be double wrapped. Tear 2 sheets of foil, large enough to wrap meat criss-crossed, spread 1 package of onion soup on the foil. After seasoning meat with salt, pepper and garlic powder, place roast on top of soup. Ciose foil and seal tightly. Bake in 300° oven 4 hours. Use au jus from roast over meat and mashed potatoes. Meat always turns out juicy and tender.
