Cabbage Crunch

Ingredients:

Salad

  • 4 T. sesame seeds
  • 1 C. slivered almonds
  • 1 head cabbage, chopped
  • 4 green onions, minced
  • 2 pkgs. chicken Top Ramen, crumbled

Dressing

  • 4 T. sugar
  • 1 C. oil
  • 6 T. red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp. Pepper
  • Flavoring from 2 pkgs. chicken Top Ramen


Preparation

Toast sesame seeds and almonds at 350°. Watch carefully, they burn fast. Mix all dressing ingredients thoroughly. Chill until ready to use. Toss cabbage, onions, Top Ramen, sesame seeds and almonds with the dressing. Serve.
Note: For a luncheon, serve with chunks of meat (chicken or turkey).
