French Fried Onion Rings

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 C. flour
  • 2 T. oil
  • 1/4 tsp. salt 1 egg
  • 1/2 C. milk
  • 3 Bermuda onions


Preparation

Mix flour and salt in bowl. Add milk, oil and egg. Beat until smooth. Cut onions into 1/4 " slices; separate into rings. Drop a few at a time into hot oil (375°). Fry for 2 to 3 minutes, turning occasionally. Drain on paper towels.
