Anita, who oversees the children's ministries at Valley Bible, has lived in the AV since 1976. She came to the church after moving to the area from Northridge, where she'd heard about VBC at her previous fellowship, Christ Community. Anita and her family became Christians at Christ Community, after her children attended vacation Bible school there.
Anita has served as a leader, director and commander in the Awana ministry and has arranged Valley Bible's summer programs for kids for many years. She served as part of our church staff for 15 years prior to her retirement. Married for 31 years to George, who was also active in ministry at VBC and passed away in 1989, Anita has four married children, seven grandchildren and one great grandson. When she's not at church, she likes to spend time with her grandchildren, as well as bowl, play golf, go to musicals, do Creative Memories and travel.
