Dale Hobart was born and raised in Simi Valley. At age 5, he accepted Christ as his savior after hearing his mother present the gospel at a vacation Bible school. As young as he was, he understood that he didn't meet God's standards and that he needed Jesus.
He began attending Valley Bible shortly after moving to the Antelope Valley. He and his wife, Dina, were looking for churches and, on the recommendation of friends, visited VBC and eventually decided to stay.
Dale leads one of the church's growth groups. A former student at The Master's College, he works as a teacher and administrator at Desert Christian High School.
He and Dina have four daughters. They enjoy spending time with the family and camping. Dale also likes to fish and hunt.
