Deacon Larry Hudson
As the child of a Navy man, Larry Hudson lived in a variety of places including Japan, Seattle, Missouri, South Carolina,
Turlock, Calif., and Los Angeles. He became a Christian at age 20, recognizing his sin after a series of difficult
experiences that humbled him before God.
In 1984, he moved to Lancaster to work at NASA as a student engineer. His roommate, Lance Richards, invited him to VBC.
Larry has led a growth group at the church for about 10 years and participated in Evangelism Explosion.
He's worked at NASA as a test engineer for more than 15 years. He and his wife, Rhonda, have two children, Lauren and
Camryn (a.k.a. Kiwi). In his spare time, Larry enjoys all sports, camping and going on road trips to Montana to visit
Rhonda's family. He's even starting to get into golf.
