Mark Clason was born and raised in Bakersfield. He received Christ as his Savior in 1965. He has been involved in the music ministry at Valley Bible Church since he moved to the Antelope Valley in 1986. "I love doing music at VBC!," he says. "I have been privileged to work/play with so many talented and lovable people over the past years."
Mark has a bachelor of arts in church music administration with an emphasis in vocal performance from Los Angeles Baptist College. He has participated in a variety of studio demo and album projects as a vocalist, adviser and producer and has sung or led a number of chorales, choirs, ensembles and bands.
He teaches fourth grade at Cimarron Elementary School. He and his wife, Donna, have three daughters, Jillian, Kate and Lindsay. In his spare time, Mark likes to obsess over "Star Trek" and science fiction and runs Mirage Entertainment Consultants, a dj and emcee service.
