Steve Bentley

Steve Bentley has lived in the Antelope Valley since 1977. He grew up in the San Fernando Valley and thought he'd accepted Christ in his teens, but didn't really commit his life to Jesus until 1993. "I found myself lost and broken and I was ready to follow the Lord," he said of that decision.

In 1993, Steve began attending Valley Bible, where his wife, Sally, and children, Stephanie and Matthew, had been going since 1980. Steve has served on the church administration committee, started a men's ministry in the mid-'90s and a prison ministry in 1997. He has led a growth group and our Fundamentals of the Faith class.

Steve has worked for the Los Angeles County Fire Department for more than 25 years. Along with his wife and two adult kids, he has a son-in-law, Matthew Smith, and three grandchildren, Madelyn, Hudson, and Hayden. In his spare time, he has been known to go prospecting for gold.
