In one semi-final, Still Running ran five runs across the plate late in the game to break a 11-11 numerical stalemate over Team Fourteen. The Disciples: Armageddon saddened Good Grief with a run in the bottom of the last inning to finish with a 4-3 conquest.
In the final climactic battle between two of our high school teams, Still Running appeared to be out of gas, down 13-7 dashing into the last inning, but delivered eight runs to teach The Disciples a lesson, 15-13. Congratulations to Still Running for winning a VBC softball championship and gaining possession of the vaunted golden softball.
