Japan Ministry Update

We will post on our elderblog reports from various members of our Japan ministry team. The first report is below, from Christian Penaloza. Christian planned to go with the team last year but his passport did not arrive in time but thankfully he is able to join this year. Also, Kyle Jenison will post reports on his blog .

The layover in San Fran was long but fun, and the plane ride was 12 hours long with 4 Movies. We arrived safely in the Japan airport where members from Hamadera Bible Church picked us up. Daisuke Okadas with his boys, Shinsuki and Maku all helped to drive us to the church where a dinner was waiting for us. We expected Japanese food but they fed us pizza. One of the toppings was potato which was good. Chips, pretzels and popcorn also made us feel at home. Cory Linman, Ian McCarter and myself are stay with a very nice Japanese lady, Mrs. Takanaka. It is a large house for Japan so there is room for us. Aaron (Aimee's friend) joined us as we asked questions about her testimony, which is amazing. I woke up early this morning (Friday morning) trying adjust to the time change. We have breakfast scheduled at 9:00 and an orientation at 11:00 a.m. with Jun Miniatosaki. I will try to keep you updated as our ministry continues.

In Christ,
Christian Penaloza
