Please pray for Rick Balogh who is in a local hospital with a blot clot and infection from recent treatments for his MS. Please pray for a speedy recovery.

Rick is one of our deacons and leads on of our Growth Groups among various other ministries he has been involved with.

Evan Mitchell

Congratulations to Jeremy and Carole Mitchell on the birth of their son, Evan Carter. Evan was born yesterday and weighed eight pounds, five ounces and was 20 and one half inches long.

Evan has an in with the church office through his grandmother, Sandy Novak.

Elijah Wong

Elijah Daniel Wong was born on Thursday, July 1 to Richard and Daphne Wong. Elijah weighed eight pounds, nine ounces as was twenty and one half inches long.

Congratulations to Richard, Daphne and sister Allison!

VBC Soccer Camp

We had a total of 198 children come out to our 2010 VBC Soccer Camp. The week went smoothly and we were blessed with fairly mild weather.

The decrease in number of kids attending from last year is very likely due to the $30 fee that we started this year to attempt to cover our costs. Taking into account many factors, we will consider whether to continue the $30 fee for next year.

Ryan McLaurin

Ryan Bradley McLaurin was born on June 22 to Cole and Jessica McLaurin. He weighed five pounds, fifteen ounces and was nineteen inches long.

Ryan is blessed with not only parents who attend our church but also grandparents and a great-grandmother.

Tanner McClellan

Tanner's heart value procedure in San Diego went well and he hopefully will be able to come home in a few days.

Tanner McClellan

Tanner will undergo another heart surgery on Thursday, June 24 at Rady Children's hospital in San Diego. Please pray for the successful working of the new heart value.

Tanner is the youngest son of Mark and Kim McClellan.

Congratulations to Jamie, Jessie, Andy and Chloe Warren on the obedience to Christ in baptism last night.

Jamie and Andy are the children of Jimmy and Jill Warren and Jessie and Chloe are the children of Kevin and Christine Warren. All four are an active part of our youth ministry.

Joe Green

Joe Green passed away this morning after a extended battle with cancer. Please pray for his wife, Debbie and his family in this difficult time of loss. We are thankful to know that Joe is now resting comfortably with the Lord.
