Valley Bible Church's - Prayer Groups


In order to minister to those who are going through difficult or important issues in life we have started specific prayer groups.


  • Women who are presently going through or being impacted by a medical crisis are invited to join other women to pray on the first Friday of every month at 12:30 p.m. at the home of Amber Brownell (44231 46th Street).

  • Men or women who have recently lost their jobs or who are facing the possible loss of their jobs are invited to join other individuals who are facing similar circumstances for prayer every other Sunday at 8:00 a.m. in the library. The next meeting is Sunday, December 2nd.

  • College and career age men who are facing important life decisions are invited to join with other young men of similar age and circumstances for prayer every Tuesday at 2:15 p.m. in Kyle Jenison's office.


If you are facing any kind of personal or family problem we have biblical counseling available for you through our church that is free of charge.

Matthew 6:6-13

But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words. So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.
Pray, then, in this way:
'Our Father who is in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.]'
