■ 3/4 C. butter
■ 2 1/2 C. flour
■ 1 1/2 C. brown sugar
■ 1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
■ 2 T. water
■ 1/2 tsp. salt
■ 12 oz. chocolate chips
■ Andes mints
■ 2 eggs

Cooking Instructions:

Melt butter, sugar and water over medium heat. Add chocolate chips and stir until partially melted. Remove from heat and continue stirring until chips are completely melted. Put this mixture in to a mixing bowl. Add eggs, one at a time. Combine flour, soda and salt in separate bowl and then add to chocolate mixture until completely blended. Place dough in refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Preheat oven to 350. Line cookie sheets with foil. Roll dough into balls. Bake 12 to 13 minutes. Take out and place mint on top and then use a toothpick to swirl mint over the top of the cookie. Makes approximately 3 to 4 dozen. For variety, try the Andes orange-mint and butter mint flavored mints.
