■ 1 C. margarine
■ 2/3 C cocoa
■ 1 1/2 C. sugar
■ 3/4 tsp. baking soda
■ 2 eggs
■ 1/4 tsp. salt
■ 2 tsp. Vanilla
■ 1-12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chips
■ 2 C. flour
■ 1/2 C. coarsely chopped nuts, opt

Cooking Instructions:

Heat oven to 350. In large bowl, beat butter sugar, eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Add to butter mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or just until set. Makes 4 dozen.
