■ 2 lbs. hamburger, cooked
■ 1/2 tsp. Salt
■ 1/4 tsp. each: pepper, oregano, basil
season salt
■ 1 C. celery, chopped
■ 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
■ 6 C. boiling water

■ 1/4 C. celery leaves, chopped
■ 1 C. carrots, diced
■ 1 T. soy sauce
■ 1/2 C. split peas
■ 1 C. elbow or shell macaroni, uncooked
■ 1-8 oz. can tomato sauce

Cooking Instructions

In a large soup pot, combine hamburger, salt, all seasonings, onion soup mix and water. Bring to a boil; simmer 15 minutes. Add all remaining ingredients and simmer 1 hour or until split peas and vegetables are tender. To this add macaroni and cook until tender. Serve.
